Fear and Anxiety

Being scared of panic is the heart of all anxiety disorders, and it is attacking the anxious person over and over again. Over time I have learned a lot about fear and it operates because I have seen so many people suffer from the attacks of this fear, fear wants you to believe that you are in danger, that you are going to panic, that you might lose control or that you might embarrass yourself.

It 99% of the time fear is successful. This fear tells you to stay away, it has you scared out of your shoes and it makes you avoid everything that might scare you. What does this fear make you avoid? It might be talking to people, driving on the freeway, going to the grocery store or even getting a job. I want you to be aware that this fear is ruining your life!, Think of all the things you missed out on.

What about people with OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder? The fear controls them by telling them that if they don't do a certain behavior something bad will happen to them how crazy is that? This is similar to a phobia, which makes them avoid everything under the sun that makes them panic.

Just like people who have phobias they do everything they can to avoid behaving normally. Both OCD and phobias come to be because they accept and act upon their fears, their fears tell them to avoid a certain thing and they do it, because they just want some peace but be aware that if you keep listening to this fear your life will stay the same forever.
