
A Broken Heart Is Really a Broken Expectation

A broken heart is really a broken expectation that another would fill our needs. Our heart can only be broken if we are rigid in our expectations and rules about how our partner should be. When we are willing and let go of our expectations, we have a certain flexibility, and our heart cannot be broken.
Today, Take a look at where you are experiencing some form of heart break or where you are still suffering from an old heartbreak. Realize this was your unspoken demand for the relationship to be according to your rules, and that the person wasn't acting in a way to meet your needs. Be willing to let all of this go so you can move forward and receive, so you can feel the love you have been missing.
